As a fourth-generation physician, service and care are ingrained in Dr. Devi's approach to medicine. She founded Park Avenue Neurology in 1999 to create a practice centered on individualized neurological care, combining academic medicine, clinical research, and long-term relationships with patients and their families.
Her career has focused on disorders of memory and cognition, Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, menopause-related cognitive symptoms, concussion, chronic pain, and other complex neurological conditions. Her work emphasizes individualized care, recognizing that brain disease is always experienced uniquely by each patient and family.
Dr. Devi is Clinical Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry at the Zucker School of Medicine at Northwell Health and an Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital. Previous academic appointments include Columbia University, Downstate, and New York University. She served as Clinical Core Co-Director of the Taub Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at Columbia and as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College.
Board-certified in Neurology, Psychiatry, Pain Medicine, Brain Injury Medicine, and Behavioral Neurology, Dr. Devi brings a multidisciplinary perspective to disorders of the brain, mind, and nervous system.

She is the author of The Spectrum of Hope, A Calm Brain, and Estrogen, Memory and Menopause. She has served as a peer reviewer for the New England Journal of Medicine and the Lancet journals. Her work and commentary have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, NPR, BBC, CBS News, among others.
Throughout her career, Dr. Devi has been committed to public service and health education. One of her proudest accomplishments was founding and directing the Girls Get Healthy program, which provided for-credit health and sex education to more than 1,100 inner-city middle and high school girls annually for over a decade. She served as President of the American Medical Women's Association and the National Council on Women's Health.
She is a Consultant to the New York State Committee on Physician Health and serves on the boards of CaringKind, New York's leading dementia organization, Columbia University's School of Professional Studies, and the Central Park Conservancy.
A die-hard New Yorker, Dr. Devi enjoys time with family and friends, opera, horseback riding, perennial gardening, and Yankee baseball.

Kristi Casale Mooney, NP

Kristi is a Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in neurology and geriatrics. She works closely with patients to provide personalized, compassionate care, emphasizing strong communication and trust. A dedicated clinician with seven years of experience, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan and her Master's degree as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from New York University. Kristi has spent most of her clinical years working with neurologically ill patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she developed her passion for working with complex patient populations. Originally from New Jersey, Kristi brings warmth, empathy, and a chatty and approachable nature to the practice. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and cheering for her favorite sports teams.

Casey Emery, MSEd

Casey Emery is a New York State-certified school psychologist who earned her M.S. from Long Island University. She conducts neurocognitive evaluations and develops individualized brain-training exercises designed to maintain and improve cognitive function. Casey brings enthusiasm, encouragement, and expertise to her work, helping patients feel supported throughout the process. A native New Yorker, she proudly calls Brooklyn home and comes from a dedicated family of Mets fans, with the youngest two being her children, Kaley and Nolan.

Karolina Marciniak-Agra, PhD

Karolina Marciniak-Agra holds a PhD from the International Max Planck Research School at the University of Tübingen and advanced training at leading research institutions. At Park Avenue Neurology, she administers TMS and EEG while playing a key role in advancing clinical research. Her published work spans primate cognition to hands-on care for patients navigating cognitive disorders and chronic pain. She holds an MSc in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology and a postgraduate diploma in Educational Psychology. Her multilingual abilities allow her to connect with New York City’s diverse community.
